Judge Olu Stevens receives highest ratings in LBA Judicial Candidate Poll.

Jefferson Circuit Court Judge Olu A. Stevens has received the highest ratings in the recent Louisville Bar Association Judicial Candidate Poll. The Poll results, which were released on March 26, 2010, show Judge Stevens received a rating of Highly Qualified or Qualified by 76% percent of attorneys, the highest of any judge or judicial candidate in Jefferson County. The percentage of attorneys that do not know Judge Stevens was only 14.4%, meaning with the exception of District Court Judge Katie King (14%), more attorneys know Judge Stevens than any other judge or judicial candidate on the ballot in 2010. The results are posted on the Louisville Bar Association website, www.loubar.org.

Jefferson Circuit Court Judge Olu Stevens has received the endorsement of the influential Jefferson County Teachers Association. “As I expected, the Teachers had a thorough and fair interview process. Our teachers are charged with one of the most important tasks in the community- the education of our young people. I am honored to have their support.” Judge Stevens will be on the ballot in November 2010.
